August 2021 | redaktion LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES || European Work in Progress Cologne 2021 Due to this positive response we have decided to give more projects the chance to participate and thus, extended the deadline for submissions until 01 September 2021. Around 150 film projects have reached us so far. Our selection committee will choose up to 30 producers of feature, documentary and animation films who will have the opportunity to present first scenes to the attending group of buyers, distributors, festival programmers, financiers as well as other key decision makers and experts to give them an ahead of the game look and to find complementary partners in their final stage of production. EWIP takes place from 19 – 21 October 2021 during the 31. Film Festival Cologne and is mainly supported by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, one of Europe’s leading film funding institutions. It is organised in cooperation with AG Verleih, the association of German independent film distributors. A renowned international jury will once again acknowledge the winners with awards including post-production services and international festival publicity worth 52,500 € provided by our partners K13 Studios, LAVAlabs Moving Images, ARRI Media, MMC Studios and ZOOM Medienfabrik. The industry event will be accompanied by individual one-to-one-meetings, evening events as well as panel discussions in cooperation with Creative Europe Desks Germany. Who can submit? Eligible are high-profile feature-length (co-)productions currently in production or post-production stage with at least one European country involved aimed for the international market.
